In September 2008 the choir was invited to Birr in County Offaly, Ireland.
Arriving in Birr late on Friday evening, liquid refreshment was first on the agenda:
It would be rude to visit Ireland without sampling the Guinness...
...although it's a somewhat acquired taste!!
On Saturday evening, the choir enjoyed an afterglow at Kelly's bar:
Elvis, along with Rhian and The Flash (Rhian's the one in fancy dress)
The choir assembled outside the Town Hall on Sunday:
And later enjoyed a grand buffet at the County Arms:

Followed by the dog dance (you had to be there...)
Returning to the accommodation, having missed the coach
